Don't know what the stalking is like however the nightlife is a bit "frisky" :vava: :vava: We had a overnight stay mid 90's on HMS Newcastle we gave as good as we got but some of the locals were out for a fight as soon as they seen strange englishmen in their pubs :aggressive:

Not been deer stalking there but it ranks among the most unappealing, rough and generally unfriendly towns I've been to. I'd agree with Andy's comment - the English are not popular. The pubs are basically boxing rings with a bar.

 

I stayed in a cotttage near there on holiday. Saw lots of wild Roe Deer, especially in strips of woodland or thick reeds along the loch shore.

Ishoot geese for years there great place full o frabbits hares and loads of roe and red on the hills that over look golf course and air base its ageat place to shoot!!!!! atb davie
