Shes a nightmare- recall- forget it- using Tig my other dog to train her to come back. Had scary moment other day when he put two pheasants up & she spotted & raced after them. She was miles in field & luckily she came back.

Then some stupid women with a nasty yorky x come bombing across field. Tig - flattened it to floor, Sal grabbed it by scruff of neck & threw it in the air. Thankfully neither of them done much damage- more annoyed at the owner for not putting it on a lead when she knows it always goes for my 3 (usually cos they are on lead til shes gone)

But that said shes worth the effort- its fantastic to see her run flat out- shes starting to get fitter after a long while on a lead.

Stick with it- yours is a puppy that youve had from being young. If I can cope with this liitle cow bag & her theiving ways- digging holes in the garden & terrorising my other dogs you can. IT really is worth it & I wouldnt part with her despite her been a pig

Well Ashwood if you mosey on down to the ferreting section all will be revealed,i was trying to put a last ditch effort into a hob I have that will not settle and hunt to a required standard, hence i was out at such a late date, but he is being rehomed next week so i expect i wont be out again for a bit.I do have a few spots that i keep to give the ferret a run every now and again just to keep him tuned in and helps keep my young lurcher focused,so rest assured i will be having a day here and there over the summer when the urge takes me,and dont worry too much about it cause for the ammount i take over the summer will not be missed one bit.my main hunting grounds wont see a ferret till september again though i will drop in to chat with the farmers and shoot a few with the 22 to keep my permission.Dogs c-o,I am a relatively patient owner and i will make some hand of her for sure,I EVEN GOT HER WALKING ON THE LEAD TODAY FOR SHORT SPELLS :toast: after her vomiting and screaming session she walked along for a few hundred yards and i let her loose again, then clipped her on again and she played up,i waited, gave her reassurance and walked her again and released her. Then I even walked her cliped on right up to the car with little resistance from her and lavished praise on her when she was in the boot,I think im wining slowly. :boogie: OH I HAVENT ANY INTENTION OF PARTING WITH HER,were life long buddies.........once she can run and catch fairly ok.
