anybody know the best way to get a ferrets nails? cant hold em right to cut them and they need doing as i am getting scratched to shit by them

ive tried mate but i cant hold em still to get em right and dont wanna slip n cut too much off as it will probably end up with me missing a finger

If you have some olive oil put a few drops on the ferrets belly , sit it in your lap & while its busy licking the oil off you can trim the nails

oh now your asking.lol.iv got a jill that is particully not into having her nails clipped.hold them by the scruf of the neck so they are just hanging and its done.it takes me about a minuit per ferret.

If you've ran out of Blu Tac, you could use double sided sticky tape an alternative.

i do let them run about every day and the majority of the garden is slabbed, except for a small section of mud at the top which they have taken to tunneling through. they really need clipping. scratch me to shit and if i have a jumper on when i go to put my jill back down she gets caught and ends up swinging off my sleeve
