Gaoler 83
Hello All, One of my friends told me to mix some tinned chappie in with my Labs dog food (dry), he says even though it is cheap it is one of the best dog food around due to being made of mainly fish & chicken ! Any one used it and how do you rate it ? Thanks John....
akton 15
Its that good in proteins and other stuff my local vet uses it themselves they even advise to use it, as its considered one of the best dog foods,
Guest foxyjo.
It's quite bland so it's very good for dogs with delicate stomachs...ie....my GSD!!
poacher3161 1,766
Years ago it was the cheapest tind dog food around and it was some times used as derogatory comment on what an individual fed his dogs but now its known as one of the best tined dog foods on the market.atb
Geoff.C 0
Chappie is mainly fish and cereal, you don't tend to get any loose bowels with it. Good protein content, and dogs seem to enjoy it. I was talking to a nutritionist from Pedigree Petfoods some time ago, and though he had the whole range to choose from, he fed Chappie to his own dogs. 'Nuff said I think? chrisdooley 0
I don't feed our dog any commercially available dog food, she has been on a BARF diet since she was about 14 weeks old and is thriving on it. She is now 2yrs old and last week went for her booster jabs and check up at the vet, the vet could not stop telling us how well the dog looked, shiny coat, clean teeth, bright eyes, perfect weight, etc, etc.
wojtek 3
never have i fed tins of dog food i thought it was just for pet dogs do you think a dog that works should be fed this way on cheap tinned food.perhaps it is a better food than i thought i will check against other tin food
