got a new shoot close to were i live my question is ive never tried decoys and was thinkin about giving it a go

my question is

which equiment seams to work as in the decoys and magnets

remember ive never tried this method so as much info as you can give please

 

were is the cheapest place to buy them from

hi mate, what you need to start of with is as follows:

1. Hide netting

2.hide poles

3.about 8-12 flocked decoys (shells are good as they are light to carry)

4. gun and shells.

4. comfy seat

6. big pigeon bag to carry everything

 

the above are the baisics you need to start the ball rolling, you can then start to think about geting floaters, flappers and a magnet. the magnets work realy well sometimes but other times they can spook the birds, you just have to see what the birds are doing and how they are flying on the day.. if you need anymore info give me a shout.

go to a roost shoot a couple put them in the freezer. when you want to go take them out, build your own hide using whots around you. as you shoot more add them.

now mate get your gear from pigeon decoys in irland you get your delivery in 2 - 3 days. i got some gear from decoys .co.uk in wigan and it took 2 weeks and i only got half my order and still wating.......????? by the way dont go decoying with out a pigeon magnet its a must.
