mate, how long did it blow up after getting it?

 

the reason i ask is coz our Hitachi did and my dad read up and it turns out that upto seven years the company is liable, its all about "statouary righrts" so read up on them mate coz we got a free tele out of it.

It was 13 months old but we got it from costco and I got a full refund, thanks.

My telly a Samsung LCD 40inch blew up the other week what do you recon to this deal for a 37 inch LG telly with a five year guarantee for £440.

 

Are LG's any good or what ?

Why do you say that ? Is it too expensive ? I have seen 37 inch LG telly for £699 at Curry's

I've got the 1080p version of that TV, the 37LG5000. The picture is amazing, cant fault it, but if I'm 100% honest I'm not really happy with the quality of the speakers. They're fine for most things, but every now and again, they are rattly when you've got the volume up.

 

Not really a problem for us, because when we're watching anything decent, we've got the surround sound on, then it's the whole flat that rattles! :D

 

My mate bought a 1080p 42" Toshiba from Play.com for around £450, it's great. :good: There are some good deals on there every now & again. :yes::thumbs:

Do you think it would be better if I paid £200 more and got a Panasonic ?

 

I would say so mate. Was talking to someone in the know and he was telling me that the panasonic tv's were the best to get! only thing was this was just after i bought a samsung :wallbash: Got to be honest though the samsung is very good 8)
