im 13 been ferreting most ov my life

 

never been bit by a ferret

 

and never been hurt

 

But all my mates have never been bit by a rabbit yet i have been bit twice by rabbits

 

anyone else ??

never been bit mate, but had a lot of scratches from the rabbits though, some pretty bad. though the scratches are nothing compared to what happened to me some weeks back i was running to pick a rabbit up from a purse net i did not realise the ground dropped away steeply and tripped and stumbled and tore the cartilage in both my knees waiting to get me op done in the next couple of weeks

ive had a hob bite right through my thumb nail once , that bloody hurt ,but never been bitten by a rabbit

Been bitten by a hare once, he ran into our long net n went to release him n he bit me on the skin between my thumb and index finger.

I let one of my jills sniff my nose last summer, and she nipped the bit right between my nostrills!!! (Stupid move!)

And was also bitten by a rabbit last year. It bit the side of my hand - I screamed (And maybe might have uttered a few swear words?) but it sort of locked on, took the guy I was out with what felt like ages to get it off, but was prob only 20seconds! Hurt A LOT, but doesn't seem to have scared.

 

Every one told me before I got them that that ferrets bite, but mine never have (well, she "did do the nose...") Even when my fingers are covered in blood, they just lick it off or take the bit of meat I'm holding. I kept pet rats, they were fine to handle, but would just grab at any food, and didn't care if your hand was in the way - have a great scar on my finger from one.

was down with my ferrets earlier and RONNIE the phsyco bit me nearly drop kicked him but he let go! he couldn't have ment it as he didn't peirce the skin but still hurt!

I've been bitten hard by my Jill poppy, more times than I care to remember. I had a .22 pellet loaded in the air rifle at one point, but had a change of heart at the last moment.

 

She calmed down a hell of a lot after she had a littler of kits, and I'm so glad know that I didn't give her the bullet because she's a shit hot worker.
