THE RESULTS ARE EASILY SEEN IN YOUR NICE CLEAR PHOTOS .......... NO STRUGGLE THERE !! ........... THE CHIN BAR ALSO PROVIDES EXTRA LEVERAGE

RECENTLY I WAS ASKED TO HALT THE KILLING OF A GOOD MATES RACING PIGEONS WHILST IN HIS AVIARYS , NOW THESE BIRDS ARE VERY GOOD WINNING MANY FEDERATION AND AMAL RACES EACH SEASON ...... AND HE LOST QUITE A FEW YOUNGUNS .........I USED A FEW OF THESE COVERED TRAPS CATCHING CLEANLY A FEW STOATS , THEY WERE NOT SET FOR THEM BUT HUMANELY KILLED FROM THE LOOK OF THE CADAVER ... BETTER THAN MANY RUSTED , AGEING MK4s

Totally agree DW. You can see the chin bar has snapped the head back perfectly. That trap has been set in the chicken run for over a year without any loss of power to the springs because of the shims, and the funnel/chin bar guarentee a perfect strike every time. I said it when I first saw the mod and I will say it again. It is the best mod I have seen for any trap. I doubt those stoats and weasels that get caught in these (by accident) don't know what hits them.

Cheers Glenn.

Who sells the Victor rat traps over here apart from Killgerm??

OTC

I have looked and enquired everywhere, they are cheaper in the usa site but when you wack the import duty and packaging on you get hammered so I alway get them from KG,

I have tried and used most of this price range of traps, T.rex .kness. ect and I have resigned to the fact that the pro is the best for me, you can adjust them and add your own settings in various ways so they are versatile for sure, there well made and easily repaired and make a satifying bang when they go off.

BOOM there it is :D

Read the whole thread and take note they are not approved for squirrels :victory:

They work good straight out of the packet but better still with a few tweaks,
