Freddy Watts 1
As far as i know baby magpies are still black. I have also heard of brown magpies. Its just a mutation. But as it has no adverse effect on the bid i guess they can survive quite well. I didn't know that they existed in any large number though, when you say loads are we taling 5 or 6 or like 100? Cheers Freddy Quote Link to post

Freddy Watts 1
Didn't say he shouldn't. The guy was just interested as to whether they existed. He never said he wasn't going to shoot them if they were in fact magpies. It would appear that they are so shoot away. ATB Freddy Edited April 15, 2009 by Freddy Watts Quote Link to post

Cheers Freddy In the interest of being politicly correct, you can't call them black. They would be non white. ...... Hold on, the brown ones are none white as well. Never mind just shoot all the ones that are not white. Sorted :hunter: ATB Michael Quote Link to post
Lola 0
Are we still talking about birds?? Quote Link to post
Freddy Watts 1
I think it is PC to call magpies with black bits black and magpies with brown bits brown as that is what colour they are. All this PC crazyness confuses me so know exactly what you mean Scuba. And I am pretty certain that scuba is still talking birds. Freddy Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I still think the OP is refering to Jays... Quote Link to post
