THE WHIPPET BEAT THE GREYHOUND OVER THE SHORT DISTANCE BUT THE GREYHOUND OVER TOOK IT WHEN THEY REACHED THE 100 YARD MARK AND THE GREYHOUND CLOCK UP THE FASTEST SPEED ONCE IT GOT INTO ITS PACE, I CANT REMEMBER THE SPEED BUT I WAS ABOUT 5 MILES AN HOUR FASTER, ANY WAY SPEED ISN,T THE MOST INPORTANT THING MY BED CROSS WHIPPET CATCHES MORE THAN MY 7/8 GREYHOUND CROSS 1/8 DEERHOUND, BUT THATS AN OTHER STORY.

i just was wondering which was the fast

beddy cross are the best cross in my eyes because i do i lot of ferret and they catch and are strong

i ones saw a whippetxgreyhound enialate a greyhound for a bet at a greyhound track it unaficaly bet the track record but yes mate greyhounds are the fastest dogs but a lurcher is the best in the field bar non

I've just had this feeling of de ja vu !!!! We had all this nonsense a while ago. The greyhound is the fastest dog on earth, end of !! Otherwise we would have, (you put the breed of dog in here), racing at Bell Vue!!!. Even Pennymeadow now seems to agree that the Greyhound is faster than the Whippet. Please don't go on about Saluki's over long distance or whippet's over short distance, the guy asks "what is the fastest dog"; in terms of M.P.H., (over any distance), it is the greyhound.
