14 month old ESS bitch, liver & white

Recommended Posts

Was laid off a few weeks ago & after much thinking decided shooting was a luxury I couldn't afford next season. So, have given up my syndicate place, sold my shotgun & rifles and the most reluctant sale is my young springer bitch. She was bought last year to replace my older dog(behind in the picture, now retired). She has been basic trained, stay, sit, retrieving, whistle etc. She's had the air rifle & starter pistol but not shotgun yet. She needs someone with the time & patience to bring her on and I think she's gonna be a superb rough shooting and beating dog, way in front of my last two. KC reg & many FTch in pedigree. Its the hardest decision I've made for a while but as long as she goes to a good working home I know its the right one for her. PM me for any details. Reduced to £300. post-10133-1239721715_thumb.jpg

See what you're saying mate but I've made the decision to pack in rough shooting, & sold my three guns. The dog has been bred to work and if I can't give her the work she loves then she's not going to be that happy is she? I've hopefully found her a good shooting home with a retired gent who can give her the time and commitment she needs. As hard as it is, the decision has been made in the interests of the dog not my own feelings. A terrier needs the earth work its bred for(or bushing depending on what takes your drift!), a lurcher's born to run, a gundog lives to flush & retrieve shot game. This is what they love to do. Maybe think of it from the dogs perspective & you might understand.
