scrubworm 0 Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 hi all ,if i dont sort this out now ,i just will not get the time before we come to england ,our deer hunting season (with scent trailling hounds ) starts in two weeks , so between work and hunting there aint much time left for thl .. we will arrive in london july 17 ,going on a trafalgar tour which i guess will be fairly full on,london ,scottish highlands ,skye,liverpool,dublin,killarney,plymouth ,london. then we hire a car and visit my sweeties rellies in llantwit then derby .leave london on august 20,for home. just in case the opportunity should arrise i would like to visit some good pubs in the chance of acquireing some memorabillia,prefer hunting ,beagle ,fox etc ,coasters ,pub adds /signs .So what are the best pubs in your neck of the woods .which ones are a must see . meinnotts 1 Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 the coopers arms, weston on trent, 3 miles out of derby - good ales on tap some interesting old guns on the wall along with the odd peice of taxidermy etc plus downstairs in the back bar you get no mobile phone signal (must be down to the 6ft thick walls) proper result, means you can never be contacted !!!!!
