Don't see any anklet's or jesses on that Spar, and any falconer's Spar will be in a breeding project or moulting at this time of year, good photo's,atb NID.

Like the one's of the female sparrowhawk, sometimes you can get real close as they are reluctant to give up their hard earned prey, atb NID.

Its a male sparrowhawk :tongue2:

Nice pics bftbs... thanks for sharing

Well in the photo comparing it to the size of the magpie i would say female, not a musket, don't see any of the orange tinge you get on Musket either, but if it is a musket who gives a feck.

All i'am saying it's not a falconers bird :feck:

P.S.A musket would be hard pushed to deal with a magpie,ATB NID.

In fact it's a MALE SPARROWHAWK.

BUT THE DOUBT WAS SOME WERE SAYING IT WAS NOT A WILD BIRD.
