hi, iv pulled a v8 engine and box out of a 110 which was also lpg. replaced them with a 200tdi and lt77 gearbox. problem is ignition dim & no start. i used the wiring loom on the tdi engine which plugged in ok. next move is earth from engine to chassis. if that dont work i was thinking of using the wiring loom off the v8. any info please ? thanks.

The V8 wiring loom would need altering a bit, you wou;d be better off building your own wiring loom using what you have. Theres No coil and no distributer but theres a solonoid on the injection that needs a 12 v feed off your iginition switch. have a look at a workshop manual. Failing that you can buy wiring looms ready me=ade for the conversion.

Something else to remember is the heater plug relay or really heavy duty switch. You are better off with a relay. Relay will have to work off a normal switch, wire from batterie to relay from relayu to the heater plugs. You have to switch it on before starting and then make sure its off while the car is running as it drains the battery quickly.
