Foxgun Tom 75
When I moved from the east end of Glasgow to Houston in Renfrewshire as a kid! it opened up a whole new world to me, I kept ferrets, jackdaw's, magpies hedgehogs etc: stayed in a railway cottage miles from anywhere and less than 100yds away across the road was the Crosslee mink farm, which I worked in during my summer holidays and school breaks, helped with the feeding and rearing of the mink in the summer, in the winter helped dispatch them remove and prepare pelts, which were sent to the Hudson Bay company who had furriers somewhere in London That Mink farm was overun with rats and I had sole permission for the ratting it was heaven, "those days as a kid with my first terriers and ferrets will never leave me"!
