borak 1
a few weeks ago i was walking round one of our many local car boots and saw a bsa mk 1 in superb condition on a stand i had a close look at it and managed to talk the chap down on the stand to £40 for it now this is a 50 year old gun and it looks like it hass had about 5 years worth of use it has the original spring and as far as i can tell tell a new breach seal i chronoed it and it was giving cosistant power around the 8 ft /lb mark which isnt too bad for a 50 year old plinker so here she is the latest adition to my gun colection Quote Link to post

johnbaz 363
i bought an early mk1 (with the steel cylinder end cap, steel was only used for the first year so i'm led to believe), it was nowhere near as nice as yours and there were no sights whatsoever, it looks like you got a real bargain there some of my bootsale finds.. ASI Statical in .22cal webley junior webley junior mk2 (ally frame) early mod mk3 webley (.177) bsa airsporter mk6 (i sold this one now) webley hawk mk1 (i only have the .177 barrel) king rattie (now swapped for original mod50) there are others that i've acquired from the bootsales but i'm not sure how many pics can go in one post i've also had several welding sets, loads of geetars, watches, knives and some massive brass shells (ordnance type not ones from the beach ) john... Little Butch 16
I love them old Meteors, my mate's got one with a cut down Barrel for Poaching and It Shoots brilliant! Butch Quote Link to post
glamour 1
I've got exactly the same meteor but with an old bsa telescopic scope on (which is useless). I rebuilt the insides for about £25 and cleaned it up. It's got a right kick! Quote Link to post
