Strong Stuff 2,171
moan when someone makes the wrong decision .................. yis fellman The grief felt by 96 families would I'd say amount to more than a moan. Am not sure this is the best place to discuss the events of that day, it will go so very easily and badly wrong when people start misunderstanding other lads and start banging out hastily written replies, the internet is a fantastic resource for lots of things, but am not sure about it being used to analyse the cause of 96 deaths. I'd hope any replies on this thread are carefully read and re read before being posted ...............

NID 0
I was working in Jersey Channel Islands, after work went to the pub "The Old England",the owner was a scouser and it was mainly Jock's and Scouser's that drank there.Alway's remember walking in and the place was in uproar as everyone was trying to phone home to hear if any of their loved ones were involved. Tragic day and one which alway's stay's in my mind,RIP.

gnasher16 30,533
Wouldnt like to get involved in the rights and wrongs of it all as its not my manor or my club but remember the day like it was yesterday....such a terribly sad day and only 3 or 4 years after both the heysel and bradford city tragedies if i remember right.....certainly a period that made you put the sport in perspective....hopefully those who lost somebody have managed to piece their lives back together a bit over the years.
