Guest AngelicAcid
Ive just received a pop up from system security version . It says firefox browser is infected with worm 4.51 Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger. The worm is trying to send your Credit Card details to a Remote Host. Asking to upgrade security. Saying I have just under 1000 Trojans. I know your get scams doing this, but any help appreciated. Im running Vista Home Premium, using Anti Vir and Malware Bytes, Ive never had a problem before using these, but was taking a :hideingbhindcurtian: at certain sites. What should I do, apart from staying away from them sites.

undisputed 1,664
If it's a worm you'll need to have it sorted in shop!
Guest AngelicAcid
Im running the programme above, ive checked it out, and its a trojan, and a scam for money. This programme should sort it I think. The system is running normally, so it might just be a pop up, as ive ran 2 anti virus. Not at the same time though. It happened as soon as i clicked on a swedish link for Meindl boots. Its just said it has my credit card details, but i cancelled them a week and a half ago, so it must be just a scam. Guest AngelicAcid
Would it be wort doing a complete system restore?

Malt 379
Would it be wort doing a complete system restore? Probably not. Whatever it is has installed itself, and a system restore doesn't affect installed programs. It sounds like some sort of adware. I've had some myself, but it took me ages to get rid of it. I tried so many things, I can't even remember what it was that worked in the end, so I can't advise.
