Trigger 26
here is one to get the ball rolling, what in your opinion is the best breed for an all rounder in a dog. any photos would be nice i have got a bull whippet greyhound x whippet greyhound. the best ive ever had I like a first cross alsation/greyhound myself they seem to have plenty of brain and good agression. Having said that i had a bitch that stood 24tts her mum was a labrador and her father looked like he was a collie/greyhound we wasnt sure of his true breeding. she turned out to be an excellent all rounder with both fur and feather day and night. I run a alsation/collie X whippet/greyhound thought i would give him a try as its not a cross you see that often. He does okay for hiself. the bitch your on about the lab cross is that sally ?that dog seen some work with him didnt she, was she alright after she broke her leg? your a lucky man having her given to you ,bet she taught you a lot about lamping it was sally. her father was flint. did you see sally work before i had her? she was one hell of a bitch buy all acconts and she did teach me a thing or to about lamping and being out in the day. i had her untill she had to be put down due to old age. yes the once ,that was 22 years ago i was a pup then lol, that flint was a fair dog as well im told ,never seen him work but seen him, but hey all of his dogs are good arent they ?he puts the work into them allright Thats very true. Thats the standard i will always try for in my dogs. i would like to achieve one day. she use to make them TURN buy all accounts. Quote Link to post
