Edgar 1
Hello everyone. I used to use my weihrauch HW 57 with the open sights, the cheek peice was exactly the right hight for me then. Now I have fitted a scope to the rifle the cheek peice is too low. The scope is a Bushnell 3-9 x 40. The scope mount is a 1 peice sportsmatch, medium height. the scope is about 5mm above the air cylinder. Does anyone know how I could raise the cheek peice to make the rifle easier to use with the scope fitted? Quote Link to post
wuzzy 0
i think what you need is a adjustable butt pad you should then be able to bring the whole rifle up but if its your scope thats to high then you will have to swap mounts Quote Link to post
Edgar 1
But the cheek peice is not adjustable and the scope lense is pretty close to the air cylinder (about 5mm). I was thinking could there be some way of adding a bit to the cheek peice? Quote Link to post

shaun sale 0
as stated adjustabull but pad the best idea then if ur still 2 short try a comb raiser.people normaly use them on shotguns hope this helps. Quote Link to post
Guest hyperion
cheap and quick fix bit of foam and some black gaffer tape! cheers hyperion Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
The adjustable butt pad will raise the gun as a whole and not cure the problem in hand, as you are still going to be left with your eyes not lining up with the scope. So IMHO the comb raiser looks to be the better option. HTH Michael Quote Link to post
spike25blue 55
the only other way is to cut out the cheek piece and use raisers on it http://www.freewebs.com/mitchejc/adjustabecheekpiece.htm atb rob Edited April 12, 2009 by spike25blue Quote Link to post
