Hannah4181 260
Long story but . . . . . . I was working for Born Free in Kent and was offered the chance to fly out to india with some tigers which were being taken over their to be released, at around the same time i met a guy who was South African and had contacts with Big Cat projects in Africa, i initially paid to go out for 2 months and help on the reserve. . . . . . . .. . . . a month in, i fell in love with a ranger and when he dropped a 8week old lion cub off with me 1 morning and asked me to look after it, i cancelled my flight and stayed a year! Unbelievable experience, some of the things i did out there will never ever be topped, the lion cub, darting elephants and rhinos from a helicopter, tracking lions on foot, assisting with operations in the bush on everything from warthogs to elephants, hand rearing an elephant calf, being charged by rhinos . . . . . the list is endless! It totally transformed my life. I went back the following year to see "Rizzla" the lion cub, and spent 3 weeks tracking him, i cant explain the feeling when we found him. I never got out the landrover as i felt it was too dangerous, but he walked over and rested his chin on the open window sill, that was enough. God i miss it, very neary stayed there, and i have no doubt in my mind i will live there 1 day, but the timing was wrong. If you ever have the chance, go! Africa is a magical country and will always be my "special place". Having my lurcher ride shot gun in the car, just isn't the same as having a lion do it!! If i could do any of that i wouldn't think twice! Apart from falling in love with a ranger im not that way inclined! haha

Ratman2 2
I can't really see what all the fuss is about, it happens naturally. What seems wrong to me is that one of those fish should be kept in a tank, that's not right surely??

I agree with you, I think non domestic animals should not be kept in such a way for someones entertainment, Although i do have an avairy, which allows alot more freedom for the birds i keep and allows them to act very natural which i do enjoy alot! droid 11
Unneccessary. Arrowana will eat dead prey, you just get them on it early. Most of them in this country are fed pellet.
