Guest Scuba1
One other thing I have noticed about the 410 is that when you put in the magazine, the gun should point muzzle down, or the last pellet that you put in the mag will drop out and you can not pussyfoot about when you cycle the action or you could end up with two pellets in the spout. If one uses more then one magazine, it helps to just turn the one that one has in ones pocket to a spot between 2 rounds so that they stay in there and then just line it up before you put it in the gun. This however is not a fault it just takes a bit of getting used to. ATB Michael Quote Link to post

ATB Michael Funny that you should say that Michael, as I do this exact same thing all the time with my S310, and have done it that way ever since I can remember? All the best, Grim. Guest Scuba1
It is just something that I have noticed and thought it was worth mentioning so as not to end up with a 9 shot magazine and a "wabbit friendly " first shot. ATB Michael Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
Resting my arm on a table and kneeling behind it, this is a 10 shot group at 38 meters ( don't know what that is in yards ) Could have been better but this was before my first cup of tea in the morning but still good going and the rifle will certainly out shoot me any day of the week. For the tree huggers among you, the A4 sheet was killed with the first shot and the other 9 where just for good measure. ATB Michael Quote Link to post

Freddy Watts 1
I am assuming that the paper was recycled too. Or that you are at least going to pulp it up and reform it into another sheet to be used again. Can't have any waste now can we. Damn good shooting though mate, would certainly outshoot me. Need to get me a bipod for that extra bit of stability. Oh and cheers for the heads up on the magazine, my last rifle had that problem. No idea what rifle it was though, a friend of the family lent it to me and now I have forgotten what it was. This it may have been an air arms though. Cheers Freddy Quote Link to post

Cheers Freddy I think, that I am going to look for a bipod to try it out. Not sure what it will do to the balance of the gun when shooting of hand, but it is something worth having a go at anyway. As far as recycling the paper goes, I was going to use it as toilet paper but I chickened out with all the holes in it, so I am going to sell it to Tetleys. ATB Michael Quote Link to post
Freddy Watts 1
Hahahaha brilliant mate wouldn't like to try that either. Yeh I wondered that about a bipod too. I hve put of buying one so far as I spend most of my time (and money) at uni so thought I would wait till I could, A afford it and B use it more. ATB Freddy Quote Link to post
midge28 6
i too anly got back into airguns a little while ago, was more inta me shotties and pigeon decoying and after days of watching the pigeons go straight over our decoys and inta the sitty trees i thought about time ta get back inta the air rifles, i purchased a secondhand s410 carbine , first time i shot a pcp and boy what a differance from the springers i used ta own, i purchased a chrono and after some testing and a lot of pellets i found best i only fill ta 150 bar shoot down ta 100 bar and i can get over 40 realy consisten shots with hardly any variation, . them pigeons dont know whats hitting them now with 22 pellet in the side of the head, lol . what brilliant rifles these are , i would not get rid of mine now, not for anything Quote Link to post
