shaun sale 0
[ Lets get a couple of things straight before we go any further. First thing is I don't post on this and other boards to get insulted by people who, quite frankly I don't know fron Adam. Secondly I've been shooting in one form or another for over 30 years. Currently I participate in most types of shooting from 177 target air pistol to service rifle target shooting. I have been on both ends of the lamp when it comes to illuminating people, and being in that beam is quite worrying because you don't know just what the bloke at the other end of it is going to do next. Oh and pack it in with the Mockney slang, I don't "chat". There's only one of us so far that has run off at the mouth. i jus read what you have written and wonderd how av u ended up at the other end of a lamp. were u poaching or was it bys poacher or do u share your shoot Quote Link to post

As I was walking back to the car one of the beat keepers had just come into the area lamping for foxes. He picked me up in his beam and kept it on me until he had driven close enough to see who I was. Glad to say it was a vehicle mounted lamp, but I didn't know that until he cot close. andyfr1968 772
Ballz To Making Your Guns Weight 10 Stone , Standed Gun Gun For Me I Bought it Like That Im Happy With It , I Can Hit Stoof With It , Kills Stuff What I Want it For , Pigeons , Maggies , Rabbit All Good Well a scope mounted lamp is actually lighter then a torch held under the fore end, as the battery is clipped of to the belt and with it being sat on the scope, it does not upset the balance of the gun as much either. NV does not way that much either. Now a bipod......... I am not so sure about that one but I am going to try one anyway. Can't make a comment if I have not given it a go at lest. Just me I suppose. Try anything once. ATB Michael As I use a springer, I don't like mounting extra stuff on the gun and having to re-zero it each time. Can anyone recomend an alternative? I use a Petzel head torch and it's fine at close range around the farm yard and buildings, but anything past 25 yards or so ain't too great. I'm useing a decent scope, I just need a little more light! Cheers. Quote Link to post
