If you got a dog takin hares then I am glad for ya, if ya got one taken fox then good deal. Cant understand why folks cant be happy that their neighbors got a good dog. If my neighbor had a dog better then my bitch then I would be breeding my bitch to his dog or gettin a pup from him. Its quite simple really. Quote Link to post

skycat 6,174
Thats the one thing I can never understand about this board. If my neighbor had a dog better then my bitch then I would be breeding my bitch to his dog or gettin a pup from him. Its quite simple really. There is something quite not right in the British psyche: if someone succeeds then a lot of people will try and dig the dirt on them. If someone has a good dog then others will try and put it down (not literally, though this has been known to happen!) I can only assume that there are a lot of bitter sour folks out there who can't bear to think that anyone could be having a better life than they are: I don't know why this is so, and its a damn shame but it happens a lot and not just within working dogs. Its a bit like our soaps over here: it would be unthinkable for anyone to really live happily ever after, and the worst always has to happen sooner or later: its almost as if people are being programmed to fail, be unhappy and expect the worst in life. I bet the anthropologists are having a field day as to why this country is going down the drain, or is it because most of the go-getters have emigrated: now there's a thought! Not everyone's a misery guts though! Though it is getting more and more difficult to stay positive in a country that is being ruined by politicians and political correctness. Sorry, off topic I know, but a little rant on a rainy day does wonders for the state of mind: I'm off to get wet with my dogs LOL Edited April 10, 2009 by skycat Quote Link to post

Yep! thats what i've witnessed! And i'm a bone to bone collie cross man! But get that good one, and see that retard of a young dog that eventually shine's and there's your once in a lifetime dog! I have had the pleasure of seeing that dog, and will give my all to see it happen again! THEN YOU WILL BE AT THE POINT WHERE A DOG TELLS YOU WHEN IT'S HAD ENOUGH, AND WHEN YOU WILL GO HOME, AND TELLS YOU WHO THE JACKER IS! The bloodline is still there, and looking strong, so one day ity will happen again, even if i'm sixty years old! Quote Link to post
