ferreterni 29
Really sad news, sorry to hear it. Would feel awful if it was my dogs. is there any possibility that the dogs could have got at anything from the house bins. Have heard of a couple of dogs taking very ill, they got out of their own yard and into another houses bin liners. Either way it is terrible thing to happen. Quote Link to post
lofti 579
THAT IS f*****g VERY VERY WRONG! i realy hope this person gets what they deserve 100 fold!! if someone did that to my dogs i wouldnt like to say what i would do! Quote Link to post
labsnlurchers 39
I'd report to police as unless the kennels can be accessed without anyone getting into house/garden some one has been intruding. Would have a damn good look around kennels & beds & outside as well. Wont cost £1000 for blood test as others have said to check for toxins. On a different note - with all the pups & free to good home dogs on here can no one offer the lad a dog for his kids sake at least. Will give them all something to focus on instead of losing his dogs. Some one will knew something & hope the will speak out- no excuse for killing dogs. We have 2 pups here for him but nothing working, i think thats probably what he would like, a good working bull x, if anyone hears of one let me know. He is keeping his dogs in in future and i would think there is a big possibility he will move house, its the not nowing who did it thats getting to him now. Quote Link to post

Hunter of T-N-G 1
Has anyone considered that it could be an animal rights group or individual. I am very careful about my lurchers i even licence them as mongrels as there could be an animal rights person working in the council. I would not be worried about an animal rights person meeting me head on as deep seeded rage would see them into a coma i have no doubt but they could always come and posion my lurchers, they often have a very warped morality, and would justify the killing of lurchers to save the lives of foxes rabbits and hares. I know that alot of shelters put down terriers and lurchers for the same reason. That all said there are a good many dog men that would do this to another dog man out of jealousy to settle a score, and then you have ex wives, girlfriends, ex partners of current partners, disguntled employees workmates. Although I tend to conceal from anyone not a friend that I hunt with dogs, I do say i have dogs and anyone would know that I they mean a greta deal to me and it would be a great way to hurt me to hurt them. Its a very low act if it was deliberate and not some accident. Quote Link to post

If no-one knows its been done-- how you gonna catch em. This is absolutley fu**ing awful and im sorry for your loss mate. The problem is that if you cant think of anybody or anything major that would of caused it it probably means its been done because of something pathetic that happened. People are so fkd up that something simple like somebody seeing one of the dogs pissing up a tree could be a major issue and they could of followed you back. He might of cut somebody up without realising and instead of going tits the person just kept calm and followed him. Maybe someone walks past his house and doesnt like something about his way of life and is a complete coward that they could only do that. Or simply weedkiller or pesticides got into them. Whatever it is just remember that there are a lot of fkd up people out there But there are MORE of us sane people to kick their fkn ass. Adam Edited April 10, 2009 by shushyjukal Quote Link to post
Tis TM 8
What a stomach churning waste... I'm so gutted for your mate, they were stunning looking dogs. I cant believe the vets dont have a consience or a "want" to help for cost price to get to the bottom of the matter for this poor bloke and his family..... all about the £'s isn't it So sad Quote Link to post
