labsnlurchers 39 Posted April 9, 2009 Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 Got a phone call from a distraught friend (scottie on here) this morning he has gone out to get his dogs from their kennel. They didn't come to greet him, worried he opened their bedding areas, every single one dead.....They were in the house until midnight so someone between then and about 9 ish this morning has gone in and given them something or done something to them. Neighbours all very friendly, no complaints, dogs dont make a racket in their kennels. The lad is struggling to understand who would do such a thing. 3 LURCHERS ALL OF WHICH HE HAS HAD FROM A PUP, THE YOUNGEST WAS 10 MONTH THE OLDEST WAS ABOUT 5. 1 TERRIER WHO HE HAD FROM A PUP WHO WAS ABOUT 8/9. He thinks they were poisoned but still he's not 100% sure. Scott is a decent lad who lives for his kids and his dogs, lurcherman through and through. His 4 young children and wife are distraught. ANY INFORMATION WILL BE DEALT WITH IN CONFIDENCE AND POLICE WILL NOT BE INVIOLVED....ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING PLEASE PLEASE PM ME OR SCOTTIE. THE LAD LIVES IN LICHFIELD, ANYONE IN THAT AREA OFFER ANY INFO???? Quote Link to post

The lad is trying to think if he has had any arguments disagreements etc lately but he honestly cant think of anyone who would do thid to his dogs, he's fecking distraught. Quote Link to post

labsnlurchers 39 Posted April 9, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 ah jesus thats bloody awfull all the years of hard work and training down the swanny ,poor bloke must be gutted i hope to god he finds out who done its and poisons them It's the first time i have heard him cry, he's a hard man emotionally, wont let stuff get to him, always telling me i get too attached to my dogs and if something were to happen id be in a mess, turns out he is in a right mess the shock i think, his kids aswell. so gutted for him, he will really miss his hunting pals. bullx 12 Posted April 9, 2009 Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 trouble is lad you dont know if they were poisoned,i would be taking them to the vet and see what poison it was or what killed them,most poisons can be traced,and if in your mates case if it is traced then you have who ever done it by the balls,i had a dog poisoned years ago and i had a post mortem done on the dog to see how he died and found out he was piosoned and i traced it to the shop and to the guy who used it on my dog,the rest is history and i wont go into detail how i paid this P***K back,sorry to hear about his dogs but if they were piosoned it is more than likely someone very close to him or even someone he knows.
