He was passing the area on his way home from somewhere further north. He later sold on the dog. Blind Dog was called Butcher at the time PK bought him. He was probably about 3 or 4 yrs old. He was mostly Nuttall blood. His father was a dog called Tiny bred from a dog called Jetson and a bitch called Pitch. Jetson and Pitch both came directly from B Nuttall. Butcher's dam was half Nuttall blood and her sire was Blackie unknown breeding. Blackie looked like a strong lakeland type. Very good dog. Hard but had a brain. handled himself very well. 2 Quote Link to post

snizle06 202
the only reason the blind dog was sold in the begining was because the chap that had him was doing his leaving cert at the time or so i was told Quote Link to post
Bryan 1,362
Neil/Fionn does that blind dog originate from cork by any chance? There was a very well know white dog bred, worked and died in Cork, called "The Blind Man". He was one of 3 main Sire's of the Cork white line, that still being worked by a lot of people.
