well every year here on easter monday theres a local course for the greyhounds and one for the lurchers. so as its getting nearer we thought we'd bring the dogs down the field for a quick drag as the weather was fine. so sounder rang clayman for the drag/lure and to see if he'd come along to operate it for an hour . then gave bing a quick ring to see if he wanted to bring his dogs for a run, no problem there he brought his two and of course myself on camara duty , oh and i cant forget the young lads (had to have someone run up and down the field with the drag) . so we had four dogs and they swaped them around a few times for a few runs, the dogs ran mighty we had good crack and the youngs lads loved it . so roll on easter monday you'd never know we might have a winner (sounder jnr came in 2nd at last years drag ) i'll hopefully have a few photos from that day aswell i'll keep ye posted

p.s not many of the dogs running most of them came out blury

last year was the first year they gave a prize but it was for the best original collie cross something like that. yes the merle dog won it. not sure if theres one this year

naw, i wasnt at it. i think my girls da has a pup out of it. i think 2 from the litter are up here. i just knew that the dogs sire won some prize at the drag so i just thought i'd ask, small world eh?lol any other pics of it?

not really sure. sounds reckons he bred him to a bull x the pups would be about 14-15 months now. have no other photos just the ones i took that day

yea its always good crack when the lurchers start racing. pity ye cant make it the more the merrier but as you said theres always next year. hope all goes well with the missus.
