How annoying is it, get home from work 5:30ish and the wind is blowing, there is some cloud cover, awesome I think. Out with a mate tonight and will give the dogs a real run.

 

Go to look outside half an hour ago, the weather is flat, no wind, no cloud cover and the moon is shining at me, winking and putting its middle finger up i bet!

 

Still lets hope I can be quiet whilst out!

Wooly, I can think of easier ways to ruin a dog !!

 

If you pick your runs and don't just slip on anything in the lamp then no harm done, dog gets a walk if nothing else.

 

Just look at it as a recce with the chance of a run, he'll get more out of it than he would if he was sat in the kennel.

Well.............................. I dunno about fecking (can't believe I'm using that ) a dog up but depending on how good your ground is regarding quarry, a dog will forget about the lamp and go from chase to chase to chase etc... Seen it done and the dog was missin for weeks. I know I know.... some "expert" on here will tell me I'm lying but hey ho..... And ohhh btw, this was back in the days when I DID hunt hare on the lamp... Yep, I have slept in a hemp sack every night ever since for my sins (trying saying that fast with a drink in you)....
