beddy whip

my beddy whip will be 6 month old on the th of this month, she is just over 17inc at the moment how big do you all think she'll make? as this is the first time i have had a lurcher pup,. shes retrieving well and jumping sheep fence with ball in her mouth, so pleased with progress. hoping she'll make 20 inc

yes mate course it will make 20in it will probably come out a bit bigger. good luck with her nice dog mate.

thought she would when will she stop growing ? 11 months ish?

My hubby's got a beddy whippet bitch thats about 18tts and she's all over all the other lurchers she has run against. Remember boys its not the size its how you use it that counts ;)

and can she retrieve rabbits no problem?

 

no problem, big bags every time she is out (aslong as the numbers are there in the first place).

my homebred lad is 20 tts , he is only 7mths , brill little dog with brains and good speed behind him , holding him back a bit at min , dont go too fast too soon

My lad's 21 inches @ 8 months:

He's getting his speed up a bit now, caught two runners a few weeks back when we took him out with the air rifle & lamp.

 

Can't wait until next season. :thumbs:

this was mine and he made 20tts he was following the terriers to ground at 4-5mths old i think he was scared incase he was missing out on sumit

Funny thing, my mate had to grab mine by the tail to stop him following my little JRT down a rabbit hole when he was that age, he was off! :laugh:

These are mine this is tes,she stands 14inches to the shoulder shes 3/4 beddy 1/4 whippet she can easily catch bolting rabbits and doesnt seem to struggle with retrieving

This is Ted hes 19inches and about 40pound weight hes a pup out of tes hes got plenty of speed for his size to hes 5/8 beddy 3/8whippet

the worst thing was this wasnt a rabbit then a month later same again when the terriers had bolted it :o:o:o
