teckel 3
boys with dogs who cant do the job in the winter... maybe its a keeper doing his job of protecting game birds. after all this is their main time for getting on top of mrs fox and her youngsters. i know a lot of you dont agree with it but after all its vermin control Quote Link to post
jack 4
pritty sure its not a terrier on private shoot away from foot paths ect and no mess around hole Quote Link to post
teckel 3
if the vixen is still alive and that earth was dug by a terrier 9 times out of 10 if she is still alive she will come back and pick up the cubs dead or alive. Quote Link to post
jack 4
the vixen is still at large, but we have accounted for the dog fox. will go back tomorrow to see if pheasant has moved and then put in time in the evening and with nightvision Quote Link to post
alimac 882
imo if there are dead cubs, and she is not responsable, which i doubt she is then she will have shifted them... as for the bird, me thinks you shot a different dog, and this bird was left by the father of the litter Quote Link to post
bullx 12
Maybe it was you who killed them and your not saying, its a bit late in the season for hunting anyway, just remember if you kill all the foxes during breeding season you wont have any thing to hunt next season. Quote Link to post
