indiana 1
I don't chase them with sight hounds, but rather with scent hounds. That being said, Plenty of them will find a place to go. If alot of pressure is being applied to the game they will go anywhere. An open garage door, an open vehicle door, barns, under school busses, drainage tiles, through town, ect.. ect.. All first hand observations. But I've heard of way worse. Quote Link to post
STUNTMAN 552
Mr. Edwards can they take a black bear? They look very fast. The best looking dog is the young one in the very first pic, he looks really nice. Have you ever fought a brown bear hand to hand? you have put the beer down for that right? Quote Link to post

UphillDoc 278
AFT-Some places they run coyotes look like there is no place to hide (praires/flatlands) but not all places we run coyotes look like that. (sandhills/high desert) As mentioned, even when it looks like there is no place to hide, they will find a spot, and often times what looks flat from a distance really isnt. The flatter the land, the faster the coyotes, IMO. loftmonkey-Yes, that was "Grace" She was probably my once in a lifetime dog. Hares to Bears she did it all! Thanks for the regards. SUNDAYBAIN-I have used decoy dogs, and have slipped lurchers when calling, but neither was as effective as running from the jump boxes with the stags. STUNTMAN-That pup in the first pic will have a hard time catching its own tail, but it should bring hell with it when it does... Take care. Quote Link to post
