Hunting-top-shots 2 Posted April 7, 2009 Report Share Posted April 7, 2009 Hi Guys I have see a few clips on Utube about these cubbys and catching all sorts of animals! from rats to foxes. so any of you have some plans or know how to make these things as I have tried but the coni keeps moving. would be glad for your advice. A square bucket is used and slots cut in the sides to take the Coni springs, this helps a little in stabilising the trap also, but I also noticed that there were two pegs, one through each of the spring coils on the outside of the bucket, this also stabilises the trap. The bucket is baited in the back. They are extremely effective sets for many species. I believe Chalkwarren has used old icecream tubs in a similar way for grey squirrels.
