ellir0305 9 Posted April 7, 2009 Report Share Posted April 7, 2009 i am currently on my easter holiday yeah i no lazy student. anyway i was wanting to do a bit of beach casting and generally have a little seaside mooch about, i live near bridgwater in somersetand currently have no transport other than bike and trainso wheres the best place to go that dont take too long to get to and the fishings good, oh yeah preferably a campsite near by. i was thinking teignmouth but wasnt sure what the fishings like. any advice greatly appreciated kind regards rob Quote Link to post

willow1 0 Posted April 7, 2009 Report Share Posted April 7, 2009 You could always try spinning for them, which would be good fun but i didnt think they were about as yet. Went on Veals web page and they said Rays and Codling are about in the channel at present. Why dont you pop up to Berrow/Brean, campsites and you could do some fishing from the beach or at Lower lighthouse BOS. Im tying to plan a trip myself this week just depends on how the shooting goes etc Cheers Quote Link to post
8shot 192 Posted April 8, 2009 Report Share Posted April 8, 2009 get down to teinmouth and fish the shaldon side of the estary with either live sandell or live prawn at first light or go up the river a bit with peeler crab and go for a flattie there a campsite on the shaldon side but ive forgot the name gd luck Quote Link to post
