hi Aaron put some dummy eggs under her then take some string and and make a tether tie one end to a stake in the ground and then every morning lift the hen of the nest and loop the tether arround her leg and place her on a perch (upside down pale or just something to get her off the ground ) she should start to prean herself and clean herself out after ten minutes or so take the tether off and place her back into the run she should fead and then go back on the nest she will protest at first but after a while she will get used to the routine if you do nothing and she is left to brood she will lose condition rapidly hope this helps good luck.forgot to say do this only if you want set eggs under her.you could put day old chicks under her and let her bring them up.

I've heard that cooling their nether-regions can put them off eg putting a layer of chicken wire in the nest so that she's not snuggling down onto the straw. However, I tried all that and more once with a broody Wyandotte bantam and none of it worked. I even, as a last resort, tried somebodies advice of putting ice-cubes in the nest: she thawed three bloody tray-fulls in one day! I had to lock her out of the run as she was attacking all the other bantams but she then flew up to the top of the eglu and gave them all the beady eye through the ventilation holes. Eventually she just stopped of her own accord but I've heard that some can loose a lot of condition as a result.

shes fine arron just leave her if shes on her own eggs fine if not get some eggs for her...put some water close by and some food shel go for a feed and a drink when she needs to...she wont die by being broody its amazing how long they can sit on the nest...think about it [bANNED TEXT] while shes brooding shes not dehydrating or using her body fat.. shes conserving energy...when she needs to she will see to herself [bANNED TEXT]!!!
