danebrewer10 6 Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 oh right, but does 6 foot up from 30 foot away is that counted as upwards? hmmm depends, if you've got a big steel bank or hill behing then yes it is upwards but not such a bad thing as you've got a good backstop, but if it's flat as a pancake then yes upwards is bad as the bullet can bounce quite a way esp. on hard baked ground if you shoot stones with an airgun (with sufficient fall out behind the target- airguns are low powered and subsquently are safe to shoot into trees- like when knocking squirrels over eg) you'll hear peeeooowwwww -y'know the classic ricochet sound..
