I have been offered an "as new" hardly used Rabbit Stopper. I am aware that they are CO2 powered but know little else of them. I have Re-chargeable PCP's Are the Crossmans CO2's any good. Thank You. J.H.S.

stay well clear they are just a gimmik gun given the name rabbit stopper to boost sales for a shit gun the brass bolt is the first thing that drop's off I know because i fell for it 9 year ago and bought one atb

yer mate, stay well clear, power drops when it goes cold (walking around outside) and expensive to run as well. No warning on when CO2 is going to run out either, stick to spring or PCP

hi i have a .22 crossman 2260 rabbit stopper,

1 cheaply made,breach area plastic.trigger plastic.

2 you can get mods for it off ebay,breach ,metal,.including scope rail.and trigger brass type.

3 once the mods are done ,you will have a very effective lightwieght rifle,

4 very accurate, powerfull,loud muzzle blast needs a silencer

5 11 ft pounds .22

i have just done the mods and tweaked the power and now it will perform well.

rabbits are a gonner with this rifle ,head shot around 30 to 40 yards.

you have to spend alot of money to get them... well shootable

 

why buy these if there not up to the job straight out of the box
