My brother bred her, her sire was a dog called countrymans companion a son of pyrennial man o'war. Shes a nice steady bitch, good nose on her, took a while to get going but she was alot quieter than the her sibblings as a pup so think its down to her more than her line. The dogs you mention are/were they good working stock???

pyrennial man of war is my dogs grand sire, and all being well i will try to use a dog from this line, to line my bitch next time round, it only cost me £80 for the stud, and it was well worth it, the owner of the stud dog is a decent bloke, my dog works well, he has just began to use his voice, and i have to have a collar on him every time i take him out.the dog doesnt rush to ground, he sticks his head down and lyes half in the hole and then if he thinks theres sumut at home in he goes,

Was the bitch you put it to from Levi's stuff, and did she work below ground? Did you also see Gordon's "Dillon" work, the dog you used on your bitch?

Which ones have you got in your pedigrees, and could you tell me what sort of workers they are i.e. below ground? Do you breed your Borders and what sort of success rate have you had?

How many Borders of this blood line do you keep, and what is your success rate - workwise?

my bitch is not from levis stuff but she has rock hard as stone in her ped , went up to angilsey for her , the chap runs a few hounds and the borders run with them . my bitch is from good working stuff but never made it , the pups though have gone to working homes and all are pleased with them so far ,only time will tell if they make the grade . when i was at gordens i seen all his borders and dillion was a very nice stamp of a dog , hes a good bloke gorden and knows his stuff

i have some pics of him on disc somewhere will dig it out for you
