hi all, what bullet weight would you all reccomend for reds? when using 6.5x55

hi all, what bullet weight would you all reccomend for reds? when using 6.5x55

 

My friend (a pro stalker) and myself both shoot 120g BT Noslers in our 6.5 s. Another friend shoots 129g Hornaday SST in his 6.5. We all shoot the common deer around here - red, fallow and roe.

i'd go with the 129g sst form hormady, An excellent bullet in the 6.5

Lapua Mega 10.1g/155grn great for roe, red and reasonably priced also very popular for moose in Scandinavia

sorry i didnt mention i wont be reloading to start with, is there any good factory ammo i should go for? the only ones i have seen are 140 grain?

I proved to my own satisfaction that 140gn Federal powershok will do the business.
