Nige69 0
Use peanut butter on your conventional traps - they usually find it irresistable Quote Link to post

bess_dog 0
hi mate, try putting an empty bin with seeds / meat in bottom, next to something they can climb onto so they get in the bin but cant jump enough to escape. its not let me down, Quote Link to post
RaiderBoy 19
borrow a few ferrets and let them go in there as long as the birds stay out of reach they should go for the mice Quote Link to post
Sterry 0
yh i would go with the ferret idea, had a few in the stables so let them run riot 3 mice killed and im sure once they smell the ferret they are long gone ( i also had a friend who had a pet weasel that did the same), failing that get a cat. happyploughman 1
I usually catch them with the normal breakback traps. I tie a small piece of cooked bacon to trap and it usually catches same night. Quote Link to post
BRYAN3 29
Hi. I use the plastic traps with the little bait trays. They are called "the big cheese" I use a small pea sized piece of chocolate superglued to tray. The chocky is quite hard and the mice can't bite bits off without springing the trap. Also the bait stays attached even when sprung and therfore can be reset without having to find more bait. Good luck. Bryan. Quote Link to post
