ianrob 2
Me and a few mates decided to put a few traps out for the rabbits last night and this is how we got on when we checked them this morning. A typical night for us, even though we are amateur trappers. OTC Aye keep at it OTC, you'll pick it up as you go along. Not a bad start though. Quote Link to post
Steve Albano 21
Anyone know the origin of the picture? I'm going to guess that was taken during the "dust bowl" great depression in the early 1930's in Kansas or Oklahoma? Alternatively, could that have been taken in Australia? Don't they have a problem with huge outbreaks of rabbits? But I think that's probably taken in USA. Very funny post, by the way! Quote Link to post

Steve Albano 21
Here's an interesting read about the dustbowl, including pictures of rabbit plagues and rabbit roundups. My mom was born on a farm in Kansas in 1931, and lived through this as a young girl, and still has vivid memories of it. I think the second picture OTC posted was probably from Australia, but the original was certainly from the American Dust Bowl era. Story and photos on the Dust Bowl Quote Link to post
