badgeroy 3
Shot an adult rat week before last and filled the warrens in under the concrete base of the shed, came home on Friday and my son said we have some doormice in the garden, i started to make a cuppa on looking out the window saw 2 young rats rushed upstairs got the .22 AA410 took a shot from bedroom window and missed. Son took pics before i got home, shot 1 on sat morning 5 more to go. Now baiting them with peanut butter on a brick (so they stay with it) and got a couple of live traps out. Squirrel_Basher 17,100
You want to be on top of that mate ,sooner rather than later ,and sort out the root problem of feeding the birds . Quote Link to post
RatSnatcher 0
Foxdropper is bang on, these critters will be climbing, pissing and spreading all sorts of viruses over your garden furniture, mower and anything else they come in contact with, good shooting but get it dealt with double quick before they start entering your house on warm nights through your open door Edited April 6, 2009 by RatSnatcher Quote Link to post

badgeroy 3
Is the son still tapping into the bank of Dad? In a roundabout way, him and his twin sister give the wife some money but obviously dont cover all expenses, still we dont have kids to make money do we. Quote Link to post
badgeroy 3
Another 1 last night but in the Little Nipper type trap baited with bread and peanut butter. Quote Link to post
badgeroy 3
2 more young shot today all killed with .177 AA410 seemed to do better than the .22, i think thats the lot from the warren under the shed but still some about in other gardens and rear alley so its down to trapping i think.
