Guest warren
Lucy the Dam of these pups came up trumps agian yesterday and found to ground a little FAT, vey fat vixen, fat on lamb and (pheasant). Never in my life have I seen as many dead lambs (and birds), believe it or not we counted about twenty nine dead lambs spread about the land, granted some had been killed by Badger. The cubbing den where Lucy found the vixen had dead lambs every where. Why did she want so much food, her cubs were only about a week old and yet able to feed!! She was a gallant little mother, she came out of her earth with a cub, she did her best to save one and she must be admired for that. She was shot and my young Border dog had killed the rest of the litter. Regards Warren
