pointer 543 Posted April 4, 2009 Report Share Posted April 4, 2009 Its easy to get overdogged but i think alot depends on age aswell as older dogs go into semi retirement and young uns are brought on.so someone might own a few dogs but is only seriously working a couple. for me four dogs is about right,even then they are different types for different forms of hunting.
