Can you keep it safe - my mam knows a bloke with racing pigeons & he gave me number for place to ring. You give them ring number & they can trace owner.

The one we found in garden had hit power lines & was well off course. The bloke was chuffed to bits to get him back.

Some one on here may keep them as well & get back to you quicker than me.

It could be a young bird as its wrong weather for them to get confused & lost.

I keep racers mate catch it and see if has got a stamp on its wing you do this by opening its wing out the stamp should be on the primary flites the stamp should have owners name and phone number, if there is no stamp you can phone up the rpra and find out who it belongs to by giving them the ring number. Just make sure it has a drink and some corn or see to eat mate in the mean time

The only reason i said put up it's ring number was because i knew the rpra would be closed and thought that once we had the ring number someone would be able to phone and find who it belonged to and hopefully get it collected quicker.

Thank you all.

I keep and race pigeons too` It is the start of the youngster training, So sound like he not ready yet and still need more training. On the ring it will tell you the age of the bird!!!!

Good luck anyway.
