billyrussell25 0
That sounds ideal!I am currently a serving officer in the british army and have been tasked with organising our officers mess hunting trip and the feeling is we want to do boar hunting with a bit of deer and game thrown in (but not a deal breaker!!). If anyone has any ideas of where might be good place to go i would be most grateful for a reply! Of course accomodation and wine is also an important factor in our choice of location!! cheers

solongaman 0
how many dogs got shot ? i heard a few get done by mistake you're a bit out of date. That was 6 trips ago. Terrible day that (accidents do happen - we think it was due to one of the small terriers being unseen behind a wounded boar and an inexperienced hunter thinking he was doing the right thing by finishing off the boar) and if anyone reading this thinks it would not happen to them - think again.....one of the senior guides told me that day he had shot a dog himself by accident some years previously)
