Johnny Vegas 1 1
what can a wheatonx do what a colliex or bullx cant.atb N.H nothing really mate but they hide it better and i have had a few bull x and had a vets fee ,for nearly £500 for one bullx i owned brought her up right let her play with neighbours dogs.stock broke her worked her all winter cracking dog summer time after exercise got her out of the van,ran to neighbours dog tail wagging and pulled it to bits cant have that.So bull x shove um never ever trust them with stock ,kids or other dogs im sure people will disagree but i have had a good 1 but i have been.Unfortunate to have a bad 1 got a wheaton x now love her to bits trust her with anything Quote Link to post
Johnny Vegas 1 1
johnny vegas, you mug off bulls yet yours is not a straight wheaton cross it has bull in it,lucky is 100% spot on a good bull would beat any wheaton fact,if wheatons where as good as you say,we would all have them, most wheaton owners now days are in it for the money, the wheatons are the new things to peddle, but hurry up and make the most of it,as people will soon see just how avarage a wheaton cross is, if ido have a litter i wont peddle them they will be a genuine price, most prob £50 quid to the right people if not free.and like i said bull x cost me money on all fronts yep they are good dogs but to me,wheatons hide it better and where i live you need that.plus how many wheatons have you heard of in the news turning on kids compared to bull.and it aint only just that where i live you have a bull to be macho, not in to tha so not the dog realy just people who keep them. mattyg 1,862
i agree j.v. the rougher coat of the wheatenx is an advantage in covering bramble or barbed wire marks should the dogs hit a bit in the dark while chasing rabbits, seen some great bull crosses and also a few good wheaten crosses, but purly for personal reason i would go for the wheaten x. im not too familiar with many good working bull types but have heard of and seen a few good working wheatons and i mean in the field...im sure there are some good straight bull types out there, just dont seem to see many of em for obvious reasons i suppose!
