lucky 578
wat a load of sh*t how could a good bull beat a good wheaton a wheaton will catch all quarry not like most bulls .......CLOWNS............if you nothing about wheaton x`s dont comment on them... spiderfly you are starting to make yourself look as silly as you did when you put a post up pretending your whippet had killed 5 foxes in the night, when in reality they were all shot.... now you are claiming to be an expert on this subject even though you have put up atleast 2 polls up asking which cross make the best fox dogs ???? your also saying a wheaten will catch all quarry unlike a bullcross which is also a very bold statement, i have seen 1/2 cross, 5/8 3/8 and 1/4 bred wheaten crosses run and theres no noticeable difference between bull crosses of the same percentages..... so like you say if you dont know anything about wheaten crosses dont comment on them or atleast learn how to spell wheatEn.... sniper 30
The bulls are better dogs for Fox.guaranteed they were bred for this job and do it better than any breed around.lets face if i was digging and needed a draw dog then i would go for a 1st cross bull grey rather than the wheatenx every time.and to say that wheatens are the btter running dog than thats just stupidity, ive seen bullx's f*****g fly on the lamp and daytime, ive seen slower ones aswell but they were better dogs for the quarry in topic rather than the wheatens i have seen on.dont get me wrong ive seen one or two good wheatens and they were decent but nothing compared to a bullx.if wheatens were better than everybody would have them. !! Moorman 1 1,374
Good and bad in all crosses. It's total stupidity to say any one breed is any better than another. We all look for different things in our dogs.I have seen dogs of many different crosses make others look stupid on our chosen quarry. But that doesn't mean that that cross is better than the next. These threads really do show peoples lack of knowledge and experience. It's no wonder that decent dogmen keep their opinions to theirselves, and choose no to get tangled up in these foolish threads. Guest GoneToGround1
iv never seen a wheaten greyhound run but have seen a lurcher with wheaten in it but only on 1 fox and a few rabbits. then iv seen a few bull x's go, 1/4 even 1/8, 1/2, 3/8ths and 7/16ths, what can i say? cant really fault them but the best iv ever seen run is definetly 1 of the the half x's, hes biggest of all and still the best dog both catching and killing, you wont believe it untill you see it hes 25/26 tts and almost the same width!! huge dog! if i seen a well bred littter of wheatens x pups and a well bred litter of bull x pups i know what i would go for first...
