Tiff 36
that was something else! a few questions if thats okay, I am really fascinated by this! how long can a horse continue racing (years), and how many times per season/year? How fast can a good horse go, I heard the girl say "35 miles an hour", is that a good pace? - why was Chip & Pin so far behind at the start? Why did China Jack's lead car (don't know what they are called?) slow down so much at the end of the race, it almost caused a pileup? Why do the following cars x3 follow so close to the horses? Comments- I've seen lots of different types of racing but that was some lead to make up!

FENS FEVER 147
and what is 3 legged pacing? and are mares normally better, worse or just the same as a stallion? a three leged pacer is a horse that runs with no hobbles whitch are gatting strapes whtch helps the horse to pace
FENS FEVER 147
if your horse can run the2mile road in under 4 20 then you can race most horses but the top horses are near the 4 mins mark if a horse can travel 12 seconds a ferlong that is 120 seconds for 10 ferlongs whitch is 2 mins if it can do that for 2 miles that is 4 mins whitch is 30 mph all the way ,try it with a stopp whatch in your car do 30mph all the way for 2 miles
Tiff 36
are they naturally gaited or do they have to train with hobbles until they learn the gait? breeds here like morgans and tennessee walkers used to be natural gaiters but shows ruined them so they have to be hobbled to train the gait now what if a horse kicks into a gallop? Does someone watch to make sure each horse is truly trotting? Or can they not do anything other than trot because of how the harnesses are?
