Ron Weasley 83
I'd steer clear of chicken wire. Better off spending a bit more and making something that will last! Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I'd steer clear of chicken wire. Better off spending a bit more and making something that will last! My mate made a run with chicken wire. If the ferrets are in there for any length of time, sooner or later they'll chew though it. I got my mesh from a garden centre, they cut if off the roll to the length that I needed. Quote Link to post
The one 8,477
The thing about chicken wire is first time a ferret bites it it will mark the wire then the rain will rust that spot and next time a ferret touches that spot its out and away . Try the wire off portocabin windows if your looking for a good bit of weldmesh but its not big enough for runs Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
Weld mesh is by far superier when it comes to keeping ferrets in on place Quote Link to post
kristian 9
went to my local b&q but they only had small squares of it? will try in the builders merchants next week! i've manage to get some little bits and bobs from work so i'll see what i can build! Quote Link to post
